"Used to" vs. "Be used to"

“Used to” Describes something you did in the past but don’t do now.

I used to play video games every day. (I played often before, but not now.)

“Be used to” Means you are familiar with or comfortable with something.

I am used to waking up early. (It’s normal for me now.)

If you can replace it with “accustomed to,” use “be used to.” If you’re talking about a past habit, use “used to.”
